Brief history of car:
The Rochdale GT 'Saloon' was RMP's most popular model in terms of sales. Over 1300 are believed to have been sold.
Built to be based around the 7' 6" wheelbase 1937 Ford 8/10hp chassis frame with the option to also supply to fit Series I and II and Morris 8. Overal dimension was 12' 5" long and 4' 5" wide.
Rochdale supplied all the necessary body panels in GRP and was said to 'simply bolt to the chassis frame'. Price of the kit was set at ?140.
