Sonic GT Gallery
Available: 1970's / 1980's
Brief history of car:
The Albar Sonic GT is probably the most famous Albar car of this period because of it's striking appearance. The Sonic also made it's film debut in the 'The Killing Cars'
Early examples were based around the VW Beetle and boasted 6 headlamps and a targa roof.
Later examples had custom made chassis. Bodywork was GRP. Didn't make much of an impact in the UK, too whacky!
