Brief history of car:
The Rico Shuttle was a bit of a hybrid of the Dutton Rico and Dutton Sierra. End result was fairly tragic. The Dutton Rico was an attempt at an everyday coupe but ended up being a bit fugly. The Rico Shuttle is pretty much an estate version of the Rico
The Shuttle used the Dutton Sierra chassis and thus was mechanically based around the Ford Escort Mark 1 and 2 also utilising the windscreen and doors. The Mk3 Escort donated its headlights.
One thing in its favour is that at least the shuttle wasnt trying to be a classy coupe, its uglyness looks more at home on an estate car.
Coming soon...
