Brief history of car:
The Falcon Mark III Caribbean is the hardtop version of the Mark III. Designed as a 2+2 the Mark III was to become Falcons best seller.
Initially offered as just a bodyshell to fit any Ford 8/10hp post 1937 7' 6" wheelbase chassis and later to be offered as a complete kit with custom chassis. ?164 would get you the Caribbean bodykit which included the hard top, lights and perspex side windows.
Often powered by Ford 105E / 109E the Mark III Caribbean proved to be Falcons best seller over the years. A very pretty car and admired for it's good quality for it's day, very collectable now amongst enthusiasts.
